There are two of us. There is one framework. The framework is already finished, which is the whole point, because it means almost nothing you need depends on us being awake.
Who we are not for
If you want somebody on a phone within the hour, that is not us, and we would rather say so now than let you find out in March. Firms that sell real-time availability exist. Buy it from them.
What is always on
The Den does not keep office hours. The framework, the templates, the workbooks, the handbooks and the assessments are written and online. They are awake at two in the morning on a Sunday, when you finally get to them.
What is not
Us, at two in the morning on a Sunday. Fair enough, we think. A question can wait until the morning. A framework you have not got cannot.
When we answer
Evenings, weekends, and inside one working day. That is a promise we can keep, which is why it is the one we are making.
Why that suits a smaller firm
Here is the thing about governance in a fifty-person company. Nobody does it full time. It is a fifth of somebody’s job, and they get to it on a Tuesday evening after the actual work. A practice that only answers between nine and five is no help on a Tuesday evening.
The roadmap you can hand an auditor
Most small firms can tell an auditor what they do. Far fewer can say where they were last year, where they are now, and what they are doing next. That is the question that goes badly.
So the Den answers it for you. The assessment gives you the baseline, the framework gives you the next step. The roadmap writes both down, with dates and owners, in something you can put on the table and talk through.
Small on purpose
We will not take on more licensees than the two of us can answer. If that changes we will bring people in properly, and we will say so here before we do it. Getting bigger quietly, and worse, is not growth.
What we do not do
We are not your CISO. We do not run your incident response, file your registrations or sign your attestations. We are not inside your tooling. The governance is yours. We give you the path and everything you need to walk it.
